  Good News Baptist church at Cedar Rapids is a very Godly church. I used to go there a few years ago, but left ‘cause I wanted to support a Spanish speaking church in my area; so otherwise, I’d most likely be still attending this wonderful orthodox Christian church. Pastor Thomas is a very Godly person who really cares about his sheep. He and the pastor before him (who retired) have visited me at home at least three times or more, and I could see they were genuinely interested in my spiritual life. I am not originally from this town, so I appreciated that deeply because my circle of friends was always small. I’d also wish they’d broadcast their sermons in the Internet; it’d be a blessing for others too. I am not a very emotional person but I could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit up there. No, it’s not because this is a noisy or loud church, on the contrary, it’s traditional. The sermons are Conservative, orthodox and (I believe) they are sound in Biblical doctrine, and at least in my case, I’d remember part of them for the whole week.
